Kristina Schnell was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry as well as her Associate’s degree in Biology from Indiana University Southeast in 2013. Kristina has been with Paws Pet Care for over a year and absolutely loves going to work every day. She treats each of her client’s fur-babies how she would want her own to be cared for. She has experience with giving insulin injections, antibiotic injections, and subcutaneous fluids for a cat as well as many other medication administrations.
Animals have always been Kristina’s love and passion in life and she cannot remember a time that she did not have at least one animal in her home, with exception of living in dorms in college, where she eventually saved a puppy from the Mobile County pound that lived with her in her single room. She currently has three dogs, a husky/German shepherd mix named Sophie, a cocker spaniel named Clara Belle, and her adopted fur-baby which is a lab/border collie named Nellie. She also has 6 cats, Coco, Junior, Samantha, Sadie, Tig, and Dennis. Samantha was found as a stray and fed and cared for when it was found that Sam was pregnant, she was taken to Kristina’s home where she had 5 beautiful kitties. Two of the kittens were adopted and Sadie, Tig, and Dennis still are with Sam and Kristina at her family’s home. Along with the dogs and cats, Kristina also has a pot belly pig named “pork chop”.
In her free time, Kristina loves to exercise and play with her fur babies. She also enjoys going to Lake Cumberland during the summer and enjoying the sun by her pool with her animals and family.
